Driveway Renewal with Boulder Wall

At Marnach Outdoor Services, we undertook a landscape transformation project for a sloping driveway in Edina, MN. Our goal was to enhance the aesthetic appeal while addressing practical concerns such as drainage, erosion, and maintenance.

We constructed a sturdy boulder wall along the edge of the driveway, providing both a natural look and long-lasting durability. The selection of boulders was deliberate to ensure variety and strength, blending seamlessly with the natural surroundings and satisfying both visual and functional needs. Beyond the boulders, we meticulously planted a range of native plants and shrubbery, chosen for their resilience to local conditions and their ability to complement the stone structure. These plants not only add a touch of greenery but also work in harmony with the regraded landscape to improve water drainage and prevent erosion. Regrading was another vital component of this project. By carefully adjusting the slope of the driveway, we've helped direct water flow effectively, reducing future drainage problems.
